Today every fourth teenager is found lamenting. No, the crib is not primarily about study stress or sibling fights. It is the social crisis what they feel they are going through. And the best part is that they think they are the only ones facing such situations. The naïve grownups thus spend their days feeling sorry for themselves, analysing pointless incidents and judging the people they won’t even see after a few years. Honestly, what’s the point?
It’s the age of jumping at rousing gigs and concocting outstanding ventures! It’s about jiggling around while the deejay plays all the songs except the one you requested him for. It’s about craving to read the novel everyone is lauding and learning to bake cookies during the vacations.
In previous times, youngsters used to cycle their way back home across the city together. When the lights went out at night, everybody used to play hide and seek. Yes, the temperature might have gotten annoying, but who cares when you are merrily occupied! Alas, if the light goes out tonight, everyone would be dismayed because it might hinder them from having a very serious chat with a friend; which would be about nothing but an everyday issue. But they would definitely perceive it as an end of something. Forget racing on the bicycle, half of them cannot even walk to a destination without speaking of their ‘life problems’, which are mere misunderstandings.
The only way to live nonchalantly for these green people is to be clear on their part. Someone has a problem with them? They may go and speak to that person about it. They like something about a person? They may compliment that person upon it. There is no need to withhold anything since all of them are souls from the same golden ocean. There is enough tension waiting for them in the coming years. As they grow up, the afflictions may proliferate with the responsibilities. Those conditions will indeed be unavoidable. But the current ones are! If pondering about something does not make them happy and it won’t even make a difference to their future life, it does not deserve their time and precious thoughts. Many of them are frequently anxious that one of their dear one is going to cut off. It needs to be understood that those who are meant to last will last. Because no matter how hard they try, life will do its job anyway.
Tears are not shed unless the bright moving scene takes place. Since life is no less than a motion picture and all people are playing their part, they must play it gratefully! The movie which has merely begun and all the characters are distressed seems dull. Thus, it is way better to focus on revitalizing each character. Life does not disappoint people, people get disappointed with life. This too is completely in their hands at what age they want this. Yes, “want”. Because those who don’t want to experience despair don’t experience it; those people know it would just stop them from seeking wild happiness. And what wild happiness really is, they only know when they experience it!
